Reprocessing of spent nuclear fuels generates many types of nuclear waste (Very-low-, low-, intermediate- and high-level waste). Depending on their activity level these waste are conditioned in specific matrices and are intended to be stored in geological sites. The lectures will give insights on the waste forms commonly produced in France and their behavior under geological disposal conditions.
